With more than a decade of public accounting experience, he helps small businesses improve their financial processes, better understand their day-to-day operations, and put systems in place that make running their business a little easier. Ty studied History and Accounting at Louisiana State University and began his career in tax and audit. Since then, he has worked with small businesses across a wide range of industries, giving him a practical understanding of the financial and operational challenges business owners face. That experience helps him look at each client’s needs from different angles and find solutions that make sense for their business. At Padgett, Ty especially enjoys creating and improving accounting systems and working directly with clients to make their daily operations more manageable. He offers guidance, suggestions, and hands-on training to help clients get more out of their accounting platforms and internal processes. Whether he is helping with onboarding, solving an accounting issue, or identifying a better way to do something, his goal is always to leave the client in a better position than when they started. Ty is known for being responsive, approachable, and willing to go the extra mile. He believes a client’s needs should come first and that good service means more than simply completing the work. It also means helping clients feel more confident in their systems, their financial information, and the decisions they make for their business. Originally from Louisiana, Ty now lives in Asheville, North Carolina, where a sense of wanderlust led him to a new part of the country. Outside of work, he enjoys playing pickleball and racquetball, reading, and exploring his interest in contemporary history. Most of all, he enjoys creative pursuits, including writing and recording music and working on video production. |
